SounDot Riqq

The riqq is a traditional hand percussion instrument used in Arabic and Turkish music, and features a sound similar to a tambourine but has jingles that are typically darker and more full-bodied. The SounDot RIQQ is patent-pending, magnetic accessory that is more than a nod to this beautiful instrument. Two high-quality white copper jingles mounted on a non-magnetic post provide that characteristic ching sound that cuts through a mix.

ATTACHMENT  Just slip your RIQQ through the Soundhole Star into the interior front face of your WalkaBout. There are two DotSpot locations in the upper bout just inside the Soundhole to match your playing preference.

CARE  Take care handling your RIQQ around other SounDots—the neodymium magnet is very powerful, and magnets do attract. Always store the RIQQ in its case or inside the WalkaBout body.
